Scarves: Your Wardrobe Essential

Often women tell me that they do not wear scarves. Usually this is because they do not know what to do with them. I can show you in two minutes simple quick ways to wear this wardrobe workhorse. Just ask me at the next show.

Why are scarves such an essential?
1. Scarves can justify a mix of colors in your outfit selection.
2. Scarves can add warmth around the neck if the weather changes.
3. Scarves can protect your hair if its windy or drizzling.
4. Large scarves can cover your bare arms or be wrapped around the waist as a dramatic layered piece.
5. Long scarves can become a belt, a headhand, or an accessory on a hat.
6. Small scarves can be tied to your purse to add interest.
7. A scarf can even become a bustier or give the appearance of a blouse under a jacket.

Carlisle does wonderful job co-ordinating scarves to work with each Collection. They are often works of art worthy of framing. Our designer is exceptionally proud of the work done to create them.

Carlisle Collection

Carlisle Trunk Show
in Pasadena, California

What is a trunk show?

This is a personalized relaxed way to shop. Women come to my home by appointment to view the Collection during a showing and then place their order. The clothes arrive anywhere from the following week to several weeks later depending on the cut dates.

What is the advantage of shopping this way?

The representative is not under any pressure to sell you what is in their inventory, since they only have samples. Instead they want to sell you what works best for your figure type, coloring and life style needs.

Who is a typical Carlisle client?

My ladies fall into two categories. My professional women have limited time to shop, yet need to look their polished best. Some wear traditional attire and others business casual. My socially active women appreciate the quality of the garments that are fashion forward yet tasteful.

Would my Carlisle Trunk Shows work for you?

Ideally you should be between size 0-18. You would probably want to live within a reasonable distance from Pasadena. You most likely are used to spending around $500 plus for a designer jacket and $300 for pants and skirts.
